There is definitely a difference betweenHorror characters we used to smile and then we worked at Zaxby’s shirt imbalance anxiety and day to day worry. Perhaps the point if for those with day to day worries rather than anxiety caused by a chemical imbalance. And perhaps the point for all anxiety is not to snap fingers and make it go away but by being a participant in finding your own healing rather than feeling helpless and that you can’t do anything about it? I suffer it myself and sometimes it can be draining when you work so hard to control it and you do get blamed for thinking like that in the first place. Perfectly understand how you feel, as a nurse, I’ve dealt with people with anxiety.

All the best with your fight. It isn’t as simple as a snap of a finger BUT Breaking Free of it starts with getting to the root of it and that root usually goes way way back. I find Tracy Crossley’s “Journey from attachment” podcast series incredibly helpful. She is down-to-earth humorous and teaches you how to feel your feelings and be okay with them and the best part of all is she gets it! And she was able to break free from it. So you are not fatally flawed you have just been conditioned to believe that. I highly suggest her series!
