See comment above about growing toKermit Frog Christmas sweatermaturity. I know of no coffee maker that even a tadpole could pass through the various filters and valves. It would’ve had to have been either an egg in the reservoir when it was shipped or one that got through the filter (even frog’s eggs are too large for any known water filters). And I don’t see any way an egg or tadpole would find the nutrition in a tank of filtered water to grow to maturity. There would, of course, be logical ways that a tiny tadpole or frog’s egg could get in a water reservoir that was never cleaned and had enough guck to serve as nutrients so that said baby could mature. But it seems a tad unlikely and has my spidey senses of skepticism tingling.

My mother somehow cemented this into Kermit Frog Christmas sweateran indelible part of her brain as absolute proof that my husband forever and always LOVES FROGS. As he grew into adulthood, she continued to gift his frogs. Frog statues, frog plaques, frog stickers, and calendars and t-shirts. My husband, even at the age of 16, really had no more interest in frogs than the average person, the key chain frogs were just something silly he got from a quarter machine and stuck on his backpack, so as you can imagine, this trend of frog gifts began to irritate him. Years passed. I saw the frogs every time I came home. They were in all our Halloween pictures of our daughter posed on the porch in her costumes year after year. The frogs began to signify home for me. I would see them and become happy, thinking, “I’m home!”
