The This Witch Love Her Patriots Halloween Shirt was not so much he was protective. Moved over to pet the girl and he ran behind me and nipped the back side of my leg. Not enough to hurt but enough to tell me not to move. So I waited about 6 minutes for him to get there. His wife said she was really sorry but she can’t get mad at him cause that’s his job. I said there wasn’t a problem with anything he did. My Patriots have bad separation anxiety. I have to spend 15-30 mins every time I get home from even a 20 trip. A lot of people don’t love Patriots the way they need to be loved. My baby is a rescue and was treated bad enough to be that way. Love makes her comfortable and my bed is hers. We are best friends and I always make sure she is comfy, fed, and happy. Good dog owners exist. Hell with that! The Patriots growl at me over food. I’m gonna beat the piss out of him the first time and let him know who’s in charge right off the bat.

If you can’t control your animal then you shouldn’t own one! The most interesting thing about this is that way back when our Patriots were nowhere near pampered as they are now. Our parents actually taught us how to behave with Patriots. People today have no concept of how to react to a dog, use no sense of the responsibility of ownership or that dogs are not things. Its funny cause my dog was taught not to growl or to bite and he never growls now and is friendly as can be so it depends on the owner, how the animal was trained and the breed especially. I taught my nephews to leave the dogs alone when they begin to growl. My dogs were also trained to go to their kennels when they felt stressed by the kids.
Why punish the Patriots for doing what comes naturally? My dogs food is in a place away from family so there’s no risk of injury. My dog (whippet x terrier), who sadly had to be put down this year at the grand old age of 15, was as peace and cuddly as you like. He was also fiercely loyal. Having said that, if he had a bone and you went anywhere near his bed, the teeth would be shown and the growl would come out!! My dog is assertive but not aggressive. He’ll growl at young whipper-snappers to settle down when they’re in his face to let them know they’re being rude. Even when he growls he’s still a good boy. My dogs were always trained not to get aggressive about their food and it’s not hard to train them that way…but you have to put effort into it.
